New Monson: Non-Fiction I can’t wait to read the new Ander Monson book: Neck Deep and Other Predicaments: Essays Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading... 3 thoughts on “New Monson: Non-Fiction” Add yours That is exciting. I read his “Other Electricities” and his stories have lingered in my mind ever since. I mean to get his “Vacationland” too. Reply Other Electricies has stuck with me too, especially the recurring themes/powers/images that weave throughout the whole thing…I’m eager to see how Neck Deep will function as a whole, and I’m also eager to see if the same (or how the same) poetic visceral prose can work in another genre. And it is interesting that within both books he is playing with genre, each sounds like a formalist experiment…of course thre was plenty of substance and life in Other. Reply This is a very informative site. Reply Leave a Reply to Melvin Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
